Beet Hummus Naan Pizza
Pizza night is my favorite night, especially with my new Beet Hummus Naan Pizza recipe! Pizza is the best and I absolutely adore hummus, so it’s only natural to join the two for a tasty dinner.
There’s only one thing that completes pizza night and that’s a smooth and velvety glass of wine. Gloria Ferrer Carneros Chardonnay pairs so naturally with this vibrant Beet Hummus Naan Pizza. It’s quite possibly the most perfect meal to ring in the spring season.
Gloria Ferrer wine is aged for nine months on French Oak Barrels to increase complexity. And whoa is it complex… such lovely luscious flavor. I can’t get enough of the fruity aroma and the peach/pear flavor with hints of tropical and meyer lemon tastes are just beyond irresistible.
Gloria Ferrer wines are not only incredible to drink, they’re award-winning! They have earned over 400 gold medals and 50 90+ scores in the last 5 years. No surprise, there. With 335 acres under vine, the estate vineyards at Gloria Ferrer is known as experts in the production of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay, and produce estate grown still and sparkling wines that rival some of the world’s finest. Totally suitable for an elegant dinner or party, but fabulous for pizza night, at home, too!
You better believe this upcoming Friday, I’ll be getting cozy, uncorking my bottle of wine and chowing down on some gourmet pizza. Okay, maybe this isn’t actually gourmet pizza, but it’s gorgeous enough to be considered gourmet pizza. Unlike fancy pizzas, though, this Beet Hummus Naan Pizza is so easy. The hardest part of creating this pizza was making the hummus and that’s just a matter of throwing a few ingredients into the food processor. Of course, you can always use store-bought hummus. Trader Joe’s even carries a delicious beet hummus, but not quite as delicious as the homemade version. 🙂
As an added plus, the leftover hummus is the perfect dip to enjoy as an appetizer or even later throughout the week.
Feel free to substitute your favorite ingredients and use more or less of any topping. That’s the great thing about pizza- it’s completely versatile. Not a fan of beets, use a different type of hummus. Make it your own!
