Ingredients Needed For A Homemade Gingerbread Latte
This recipe could not be easier! It’s so simple that my husband and I have been enjoying these every morning for the past week!
It is essential that you start this recipe with a rich, smooth, great-tasting coffee and that’s why we’re using Community® coffee.
Other ingredients needed are pretty straightforward and here’s the lineup:
- Milk
- Molasses
- Cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg
- Maple syrup
- And any fun toppings your heart may desire
How Do You Make a Gingerbread Latte?
This recipe is really quick and easy! It will only take you about 2 extra minutes from making your regular coffee in the morning. Start off by heating some milk. You can do this on the stovetop, in the microwave or in an electric frother. You don’t want the milk to boil, just get nice and steamy.
While milk is steaming, mix the cinnamon, nutmeg, ginger, maple syrup and molasses in with the freshly brewed Community® coffee. Divide this mixture between two mugs and stir well to combine.
Next, pour the milk evenly over the two mugs of coffee and then garnish with your favorite toppings. I love to dress up this latte with whipped cream, a dusting of cinnamon and a cute little gingerbread man.
It’s time to put on that cheesy Christmas movie or turn on some Christmas music and make yourself a mug of this delicious Gingerbread Latte. My favorite way to enjoy the most wonderful time of the year!
