Holiday Detox Pear Smoothie
Holiday Detox Pear Smoothie is filled with fiber, antioxidants, and immune boosting nutrients for optimum health. The perfect recovery from loads of festive eats!
HOW TO MAKE THIS HOLIDAY DETOX PEAR SMOOTHIE:
I drink smoothies like it’s my job. Which it is, sometimes, sort of. Which is awesome.
Start by adding milk and spinach to your blender and blend on high for a few seconds. Next, add all other ingredients and blend until smooth. If your green smoothie is too thick, add a splash more of milk. If it’s too thin, add a few more ice cubes. For more sweetness, add extra frozen banana, a packet of stevia or a seeded date. Pour into a large glass and enjoy every delicious sip!
This Holiday Detox Pear Smoothie is what I’ve been making over the last few days to help balance out all of the holiday-ish recipes and NYC eats.
My eating has looked a little something like this:
- Blueberry Pancakes at Friedman’s Lunch
- Pear Smoothie
- Cranberry Pear Crisp
- Pear Smoothie
- Red Velvet Cheesecake at Juniors
- Pear Smoothie
- Grandma’s Pumpkin Pie Dessert Squares
- Pear Smoothie
- Texas Sheet Cake Cookies
- Pear Smoothie
Oh yeah, and how could I forget the most incredible cookies ever, from Levain Bakery?
It’s safe to say, I’ve been eating really good or bad depending on your perspective. 🙂
I think you guys are going to love this smoothie just as much as I do! It’s:
Cold
Slightly tart
Perfectly sweet
Refreshing
Loaded with nutrients
Simple
Fast
Naturally detoxifying (thanks to fiber!)
And perfect for hitting the reset button on your diet
This would be the perfect smoothie to add to your weekly line-up for breakfast or post-workout snacks. Pear and banana add a lovely sweetness, almond milk lends to a creamy base, pumpkin pie spice offers seasonal flavor and spinach gives us a slew of health benefits.
